The problem

A pharmacy in Meknès answers the same phone question all day: "do you have this medicine?". Patients cross town for nothing when the answer is no, and the counter staff is constantly interrupted.

The solution, step by step

  1. Export the stock list to Google Sheets daily from the pharmacy software (name, dosage, quantity, price).
  2. A WhatsApp Business auto-reply invites patients to send the medicine name or a photo of the prescription line.
  3. A Zapier zap looks the product up in the sheet and answers: in stock with price, or out of stock with the expected restock day.
  4. If in stock, the patient can reply "reserve" — the row is flagged and the box set aside for 24 hours.
  5. Requests that find no match are logged, giving the pharmacist a demand list for ordering.
  6. Result and estimated gains

    • Around 30 fewer calls per day at the counter.
    • Patients stop traveling for nothing — loyalty grows in the neighborhood.
    • The unmatched-requests log improves ordering and adds sales of products patients assumed unavailable.
